Adventure Racing World Championships was hosted in Penticton, BC in 2025. This pinnacle event in the sport of AR covered 800+km of stunning British Columbia. With 50+ teams representing 25 countries & some of the most beautiful stories of the land and people, racers and followers were able to truly immerse themselves in this epic adventure.

Hosting the 2025 Subaru Canada Adventure Racing World Championships was one of the greatest honours in Expedition Canada's history. After building Expedition Canada since our inaugural race in 2021, welcoming the world's best adventure racers to British Columbia was the culmination of years of passion, dedication, and belief in what Canadian adventure racing could become.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the more than 60 teams representing over 25 countries who travelled to Canada to compete, explore our spectacular landscapes, and share in an unforgettable adventure. Your determination, sportsmanship, and camaraderie reminded us that adventure racing is about so much more than the finish line, it is about the friendships forged, the challenges overcome, and the memories created together.

To our title partner, Subaru Canada, thank you for believing in our vision and helping bring this world-class event to life. Your support extended far beyond sponsorship; it helped showcase the spirit of adventure, the beauty of British Columbia, and the values of resilience, exploration, integrity, and community that define both Subaru and our sport.

We are proud to carry that momentum forward as we continue growing the sport through Expedition Canada, the Subaru Western Canada Adventure Racing Series, and future world-class adventures.
