Expedition Canada competitors are required to carry mandatory items to maximize their safety during the event and need to be familiar with the event logistics for AR races.

MANDATORY GEAR LIST

Teams are required to carry all items on the mandatory gear list at all times. Expedition Canada is a ARWS sanctioned race and therefore the mandatory gear list is set out by the Adventure Racing World Series.

You may (and should) choose to bring some additional items in order to complete Expedition Canada safely.

Packraft and Dry suit Rentals are available through Mt. Waddington Outdoors.

LAST MINUTE REQUIREMENTS

Even if you've planned everything to the minute detail, there is always something you need just before the race. There are plenty of places for you to go around the area, just in case.

Eskala Mountain Sports in Penticton within walking distance of the village, at the Expo, or pre-order here.

Freedom the Bike Shop will be at the Expo with their bike maintenance and retail tent. Their shop is within a short riding distance to the event village and pre-orders and gear browsing can be done here.

Bike Barn is within a short riding distance for repairs, gear, etc. Check them out here.

Mt. Waddington Outdoors will have a full retail booth available at the Expo or pre-order here.

Canadian Tire is within walking distance and has a full array of camping gear, tools and supplies of all kinds! Pre-order or browse here.
