The Subaru Canada Adventure Racing World Championship 2025 will take athletes on a 750+ km journey across British Columbia’s most breathtaking and culturally rich regions. Along the way, racers will experience vibrant communities, Indigenous heritage, rugged landscapes, and unforgettable hospitality.

Penticton (Host City)

The heart of ARWC 2025, Penticton is where racers start and finish their journey. Known for its lakes, wineries, and thriving outdoor culture, Penticton welcomes the world with vibrant energy and local pride.

Penticton is located on the traditional, unceded territory of the Syilx Okanagan people, whose culture and stewardship of the land are deeply tied to the lakes, mountains, and valleys that define this region.

 

Visitors are invited to explore Penticton’s modern vibrancy while honouring its Indigenous roots and connections.

Village of Ashcroft

Known as the only true desert in Canada, Ashcroft offers unique landscapes, thriving art galleries, outdoor recreation, and a welcoming small-town charm. Stroll historic streets, hike desert trails, or enjoy the Thompson River backdrop.

Lillooet

Nicknamed the Jade Capital of the World, Lillooet blends stunning mountain scenery, Indigenous heritage, and outdoor adventure.

 

Hike, fish, explore vineyards, or dive into its deep Gold Rush history.

Seton Portage

Nestled between Seton and Anderson Lakes, Seton Portage sits on the traditional territory of the St’át’imc Nation.

 

Visitors can kayak, fish, hike, or connect with Indigenous heritage through storytelling and interpretive sites.

Village of Pemberton

Follow The Action From Anywhere In The World

Framed by snow-capped peaks, Pemberton is an adventure hub offering mountain biking, skiing, heli-sightseeing, and farm-to-table experiences.

 

Situated on Lil’wat Nation territory, it’s a cultural and outdoor gem of the Sea-to-Sky corridor.

Hat Creek Ranch

Step back into the 19th century at Historic Hat Creek Ranch, a preserved heritage site along the Cariboo Wagon Road.

 

Operated by the St’uxwtews Pesuten Heritage Society of the Bonaparte First Nation, Hat Creek offers a window into Gold Rush history, Indigenous culture, and traditional ranch life.
